Newborn sessions

The Right Photographer

Choosing a Photographer is a difficult decision!

Start by looking at the photos on my website and social media to see if you like my style of newborn photography (hopefully you'll love it!)

I started specializing in newborn photography over 8 years ago after I had my own first baby.  I have trained extensively in newborn safety and in the art of newborn posing.  I am lucky enough to have trained with one of the leading newborn photographers from the US.

I absolutely love what I do and like to deliver the very best to my clients.

A special experience

A newborn portrait session is a once in a lifetime experience as your baby  will change and grow before you know it. Documenting the tiny details that will change so quickly is an investment that you and your family will treasure forever.

My newborn sessions take place within the first 10-14 days of your baby's life. This time is the best to achieve that dreamy look and be able to do the best poses. After two weeks it is still possible to photograph your newborn however, babies tend to be less sleepy and want to stretch out, so certain poses might not be possible. This is why it is best to photograph your newborn baby within the first two weeks of their life.

The Session

Before the session, we will discuss the color schemes that you like the best. Or you can leave that up to me. If you book a Maternity session I will try to match your dress to the newborn setup to create a cohesive look.

The best time to complete your booking will be in your second trimester. I have very limited spots (one per week) and my calendar fills up very quickly, and I can't guarantee late availability (although it does happen, so do contact me to check!)

Upon booking a session I will send you a document with useful information for your session. This information will help prepare you and your newborn for the day and make the most out of your session.

Please allow up to 4 hours for your newborn photography session, as I allow time for feeding, pee, poo, etc, and of course cuddling! I only book one newborn session per day to allow enough time and no stressing.
